Access to Comprehensive Care ---Key Factors-- Access to the highly-trained and specialized personnel is especially crucial for detection of PD as well as for treatment of the varied and often debilitating symptoms of PD. Given the costs and complexity of PD, now we address the question whether PD patients have access to appropriate and high quality services. Cost of services and insurance coverage are certainly important elements of access . A second element is the availability of highly-trained and specialized personnel for detection of PD and treatment of the varied and often debilitating symptoms of PD.
